Last night (in honor of summer), we had a little BBQ on the waterfront, just with friends and the occasional steel pulse track.

Miyoshi got on grill duty and flipped, all kinds of non-American fare.

The sunset happened, and I cranked up the old itunes, the locals love some dancehall reggae and the occasional NYC dance beat.

Before the festivities, i grabbed a surf in honor of my Brooklyn Molluskites…and in true Brooklyn fashion i got caught in traffic to the beach, and was out of my gourd when I arrived to the stinky rain polluted water.

I also want to show how Japan cuts right to the chase and just sells bacon in a bag, as a nice quick snack. Miyoshi downed these greasy bits, after our dip in the drink.

HAPPY 4th to everyone….burn a sparkler for me.
