THE BOATHEMIAN

One can imagine that with rainy season in Japan one can get kindof glum, I mean i wake up to drizzle and go to sleep with it at night. Its like clockwork, i feel weird without it, now thats not to say that the daytime might not clear up and get sunny and hot, but the beginning and end are wet. Yesterday I had a serious case of the bummers, I felt lonely, ugly, and kindof bummed and unable to communicate it to anyone. Then Mori woke me up and said “hey TY surf makes you feel better lets go, you should forget all the crap that you are thinking and just go surf”….so surf we did.
But before surfing I threw some spray paint on an old rotten board to give it a little jazz.

Once at the beach and I was feeling more upbeat, Mori (whom ive nicknamed BILL MORI), wanted to show me some of his new japanese cutting edge surf fashion, with the white V under the farmer john, (you may laugh now but just wait, kids in Brooklyn will eat this up in no time), just remember where you saw it first.

Before paddling out Mori snapped this pic of grumpy Tyrone, but rest assured I was happy once in the water, the waves were fun and I only got stung by mystery creatures 2 times!!!! yay!!!!
