THE BOATHEMIAN

Late last night i left for a day trip up to Ibaragi to get some surf, After hours in the car and numerous spots checked, we found some waves. It was pouring rain though so i neglected to get any shots. Driving late at night however, i got to see the lights of Tokyo, and the numerous Giant Ferris Wheels that run in the city, I thought “wow those must be the most romantic rides in the world” and asked anyone if they had taken a girl on them, Quickly my friend Miyoshi explained that teenagers often have sex on them, as it is a great rush……so in a sense i guess i was right.

After our first surf session we took refuge from the rain in a friend’s surf shack, there i befriended a dog named MASH (after the TV show), and we practiced our Yoga moves and Japenese pop culture trivia.
Once the rain cleared we surfed again and then headed back to Kamakura.
