Maine is not exactly what comes to mind when you think of surfing, but it does get good swell occasionally and there is a strong surfing community. Nobody knows about surfing in Maine more than Surfer Crow. Crow has been surfing Maine since the early 60’s and still does today. He is a bit of a legend, and i had the pleasure of meeting him yesterday while i was at NEAST magazine.
It was rad meeting him and inspiring, as i hope to still be surfing as well as him, when im a seasoned folk.

i hope everyone’s thanksgiving was awesome….for me, i got to surf in the morning then eat TWO!!! meals then pass out…
the food was rad, since everyone was veg…so there was some amazing recipes getting flung around..

IN addition i skated at GRAIN surfboards late night..and eventually passed out in honor of our good buddy ROSS who is moving to COLORADO!!! for the winter…we are all gonna miss him…but hell be back. (they always come back)

Ross (with few PBR’s in him) started building a mini guitar….

This is chunt, who really steps up any session when hes on a board, here he is showing the kids at home what cedar-scrap-tuberiding is all about..

Everyone has those days where they dont feel like doing anything at all, i do. Sometimes i feel as though im not accomplishing enough, or not making anything of myself. But then there is days where i feel like im doing so much i cant stop and want to..
Not doing anything except walking around sometimes is the best!!!!!
This past few days in brooklyn was just that, a time of relaxing and basically wandering…and there is no better place to wander in the enire world…than NEW YORK CITY.
so here are a few pics of my weekend…i hope everyone enjoys, and i promise to get up some of the stuff im working on soon soon soon. thanks for looking at my site and i hope everyone is RAD.

this is my girlfriend whitney and she is a way bigger dork than me, but she also puts up with alot of my crap…this is what she wears everyday when she goes out and meets new people…she always asks me before we go anywhere “Ty have you seen my favorite hat?” and im always like “whit!!! its on your head!!!”
this is all a lie.

these are my best friends chunt and blake (blake has a beard now), its very “into the wild”

this women came up to us on the street and asked us where we were from..Blake got into a conversation about Russia and it was a riot…

made in CHINA!!!!!!!!!!!

blake is one of the funniest people ive ever known and is also a talented writer/actor…he also waits tables at a RAW FOOD CAFE and has served MOBY numerous times…

some of my favorite street art is the messiest, however this just made me laugh…

we watched MENOMENA while we were in the city and it was a pretty good show…they had a full choir sing behind them!!! very cool.

anyone that knows NY, undertands NY pizza is “a must” if you go there….

MOUNT EERIE…DOO…WAVES????

Last night i saw a rad show at our local book store, River Run Books, (MOUNT EERIE, JASON ANDERSON), which drew alot of local kids, it was cool to see the crowd, and i look forward to the next show.

Then i put up some stuff at DOO, i hope everyone enjoys it!!!!

I am working on a little fun show for a HAIR SALON in portsmouth NH, called “DOO”…its a really rad place, and they cut a good hair…check out my stuff there on monday and after, as it will be hung for whomever comes into get a good haircut..

In other news i recently met the people who run ARTSTREAM gallery in rochester NH, if you havent heard of them, you will soon.

They have a great place thats got alot of hip art, and i am brainstorming/planning on doing a bigshow there in the upcoming months.
i cant say how nice this place is inside.Also, you can see some of my work there this month!!!
