the fear of change..and the embrace

upon moving to the rocky seacoast of Maine much has changed for me..one of which is moving into a great little apartment on the ocean where i live alone, and can work in private. being able to live around my paints and wake up to them is something entirely new, as i am used to having to go somewhere else to paint.
with this new environment i also find myself trying new things, some of which are perhaps outside my normal illustration style works, and i love it. its scary for me to get outside of myself while at the same time i look forward to making things that, maybe, i dont believe i created.
my girlfriend is also a huge inspiration to me and is very good at pushing me to break out of my comfort zone, and for this i am very fortunate.
