Today I surfed a great little river-mouth wave, that I had heard about (mostly the horror stories of the aggressive locals hurting outsiders), when i arrived, it reminded me of Florida in the competitiveness of the crowd, I still managed to get some rides here and there and escaped without getting punched or full “NELSONED” or NOOGIED too badly.
In other news I just sealed the deal on a little excursion to BALI for a while, not sure how long yet but I’m going next month to examine their waves and meet up with the COTO crew…..can you wear ties and dress clothes in barreling waves? hmmm
